Make what matters

Move your hands.

Do not sit around and wait for someone to tap you on the shoulder and give you permission to be empowered to create. Let it shine from wherever your creative expression springs forth – your heart, your head, your voice, your hands – even your feet.

Make what brings you joy because joy is contagious and will spread further than you can imagine.  And don’t give a thought to what other people think – their opinions are none of your business.

Just make what matters – to you.

Every minute of every hour of every day you are making the world, just as you are making yourself, and you might as well do it with generosity and kindness and style.

Oh. About me…

Hello. My name is Pamela Brackett, Pam for short, and this is my small little corner of the web. My earliest memories in life have always included a sense of wonder and artistic offerings. Given time to be alone with enough coloring crayons, glue and paper I would sit, totally absorbed, in my own little world – happily creating. Every aspect of my life has been about creating: my chosen major in college, my early professional years as a graphic designer (which continues), an inspiring few years teaching art at an inner-city school and, now, as an independent designer and artist. Even my beloved children were created from and nurtured in my process and are all now independently creative in their own right.

In fact, just about every aspect of my life has been about creating: my chosen major in college, my early professional years as a graphic designer (which continues), an inspiring few years teaching art at an inner-city school and, now, as an independent designer and artist. Even my beloved children were created from and nurtured in my process and are all now independently creative in their own right.

I am happy to say that my earliest yearning for creative expression has not diminished and I find myself right back where I was as a child with enough time to create. Only the tools and materials I work with have changed. I am blessed to be here.

Walk with me for a while
